I am a DONA-certified doula, and a childbirth educator. I have attended over 50 births and worked with numerous families, assisting with childbirth preparation, labour support, breastfeeding and the postpartum transition. I have always enjoyed the childbearing stage of a woman's life, and after birthing three children of my own, discovered this avenue of assisting other women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
My desire is to encourage each woman in her ability to give birth, to assist her in acquiring the information needed to make informed choices that reflect her views, and to provide personalized support and care during her birth experience.
